今世界はとても混乱していて、暗雲に閉ざされたように感じる。
Now the world is very chaotic and I feel like I’m trapped in a dark cloud.
僕たち音楽家はほとんどすべての演奏の機会を失ってしまった。
それは同時に音楽を受け取る人の機会をも奪ったということ。
音楽がない世界で僕の心は閉じてしまっていた。
We musicians have lost almost every chance to play. It also took away the chance of receiving music from everyone. My heart closed in a world without music.
そんな音楽から離れざるを得ない時間を過ごしている中で、 音楽家は音楽を聴くこと以上に、演奏することによって自らの心が救われているのだ、ということに思い至った。
While I’m spending time away from music, I realized that musicians are saving their hearts by playing music rather than listening to it.
音楽は消え去ったりしない。いつでもそこかしこに、僕の中にも、みんなの中にもある。 音楽は、言葉も、人種も、場所も、時間も関係なく、平等に幸せをもたらしてくれると信じている。
Music doesn’t fade.It’s always here there and everywhere, in me and in everyone. I believe music brings happiness equally, regardless of language, race, place, or time.
再び世界がスマイルで溢れますように。
楽器を手にとって音を奏でる喜びをそのままに、この演奏を捧げます。
May the world be filled with smiles again.
